Urban is very proud to celebrate our 50th anniversary in 2017! Services Urban provides comprehensive civil engineering, transportation engineering, land planning, landscape architecture, surveying, and sustainability consulting services to our private and public sector clients. Our services are primarily focused in Northern Virginia; however, we have active or recently completed projects throughout Virginia, and in Washington, D.C., Maryland, Delaware, West Virginia, North Carolina, Alabama, and as far away as Japan. Past and Present Since Urban’s inception in 1967, the firm has grown to over 100 employees in three offices in Northern Virginia. Our professionals are experts at time-tested hands on design techniques. We also use state-of-the-art technology in the office and the field to deliver accurate and efficient results on every project. We strive to stay ahead of changes that could impact the industry, and take the initiative to capitalize on new opportunities as they arise. Every member of our team takes pride and personal interest in the success of every project. Urban Ag Corporation raises fruits and vegetables in urban settings. The Company uses a system of vertically stacked growing trays that control light, temperature, water and nutrition to grow fruits and vegetables indoors. Urban Ag holds the license in Massachusetts to the growing system, and has first right of refusal for the licenses in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and California. Urban US, Inc. operates as an investment company. The Company invests in energy, food, water, public health, transportation, and technology sectors. Urban US serves customers in the United Stage. Urban Us invests in startups that re-imagine city life. with our main facility and building artifact museum and gallery located just west of downtown chicago, urban remains & co. deals exclusively in the reclamation .
