For fifteen years, and due to our necessary expansion, VICAR has developed a wide range of materials for technical ceramics.Little by little, this area has been converted into one of the most important in our business and is seen as the immediate future of VICAR. The materials included are: aluminas, cordierites, steatites, mullites, porous bodies, etc. They are supplied mostly in spray dry powder ready to use. For the ceramic tile sector, VICAR has the clays referenced as ARGI. These are compositions to use in the production of engobs for tiles. If you ask for, the technical department investigates new clays following the specifications of the customers. Between these products, there is a paint for the protection of the refractory materials of the kilns, increasing the use life of these kind of kiln parts.
