Valley City Veterinary Hospital is a mixed animal practice located in Valley City, ND. Valley City is a town of 6,699 located in the beautiful Sheyenne River valley – the best of both city and country living! The practice is comprised of about 70% Small Animal (Canine/Feline), 30% Large Animal (Cow/Calf, Equine, a few sheep, pigs, goats too!) There is variety in every day here and plenty of room to develop your special area of interest! It's easy to make Valley City home and enjoy its charm whether it's in our public swimming pool, skate park, municipal golf course, or one of our seven city parks. If you're in the mood for fishing, boating, skiing or camping, Lake Ashtabula is only 12 miles away and many other natural hotspots are nearby. The area has plenty to do outdoors in the wintertime, like cross-country and downhill skiing, but if you prefer to stay indoors, you can stay active year-round with an all encompassing membership program through the Valley City Parks and Recreation Gaukler Family Wellness Center. Stretching 63 miles along the Sheyenne River Valley from Baldhill Dam to Lisbon following ancient Native American foot paths and pioneer wagon trails, the Sheyenne River Valley Scenic Byway is one of only about 100 National Scenic Byways in the United States. We're a progressive college community with one of the finest public school systems in a state that's renowned for its education.
