I've always loved being outside. Growing up my brothers and I would go out and play in the woods, or in a dirt pile, building wooden forts, digging holes, and being in nature. There was always something to do, and we were outside as much as possible. So when I started landscaping as a summer job in high school to make some money, it really shouldn't have been a surprise that I loved the work. Stepping back at the end of the day to see that we've created something with our own two hands gave me a satisfaction that's hard to find elsewhere. After working for landscape companies for a number of years, I started to get offers for work through friends and their family. What started as a way to create some extra money on the side very quickly grew into the realization that going into business for myself was not only possible, but I could thrive doing so! Hence, in August 2017 I began Valley Outdoor Design. In 2018 my mother & father came to me with the proposition of turning what I had started into a family business. Anyone who works with their family will tell you its a struggle at times, but that it is such a big blessing to have people you love & trust pushing forward with you every day! Where we are today is a testament to our love for gardening, working with our hands, and being outside. We've worked with our amazing clients across the Merrimack Valley and Southern & Seacoast NH to help maintain their properties, and deliver on their dream yards! Seeing the joy in a client when they come home to a newly transformed yard, or the relief knowing they don't have to spend time mowing the lawn or weeding this weekend is amazing.
