The United Church of Canada is Canada's largest protestant denomination. Formed in 1925, The United Church of Canada was created by a union of Presbyterian, Methodist, Congregational, and the General Council of the Local Union Churches. We believe we strengthen one another to work, through God's grace, for a better world. To this end, we cooperate with other churches, faith traditions, and people of goodwill to eliminate poverty and protect those who are most vulnerable. The United Church of Canada operates as a non-profit religious organization, validly organized and existing under the laws of the State of Colorado. The Church operates exclusively for charitable, religious, educational and scientific purposes in accordance with its Articles of Incorporation.
