We develop and manage global patent portfolios for multi-national corporations, major pharmaceutical companies, small and medium-sized companies, start-ups and major research universities. VHPM assists in due diligence efforts and in the analysis of patent portfolios that are acquisition or licensing targets. We frequently perform third-party reviews of patentability and potential freedom to operate issues surrounding a target technology. VHPM also manages portfolios of joint research and development collaborations. VHPM takes pride in efficiently providing sophisticated legal services. All of our patent professionals have advanced scientific degrees and/or significant industry experience. Our team of paralegals has a combined total of more than 45 years of experience filing and prosecuting U.S. and international patent applications. Our team includes patent attorneys and patent agents with degrees in Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering and advanced degrees in Molecular, Cellular, Developmental Biology and Genetics (Ph.D.), Neuroscience (Ph.D.), Synthetic Organic Chemistry (Ph.D.), Organic Chemistry (Ph.D.), and Genetics and Cell Biology (M.S.).
