It is the principal mission of the Vilas School District to educate all students in a caring, safe, and challenging environment, and to provide the opportunity to every student to reach their full academic potential and to be productive members of society. Vilas RE-5 School District is home to two schools: Vilas Elementary School, Vilas Undivided Secondary School. Vilas schools were founded in 1898. Our top priority is focused on student achievement and the well-being of every child. All Vilas schools and the district are accredited by the State of Colorado.
