FOR OVER THIRTY YEARS the Voita series of companies has been providing the finest quality produce to some of the most demanding Retailers, Wholesales, Importers and Foodservice receivers across the globe. From its earliest beginnings Voita has been deeply rooted in the citrus business. Voita was one of the first companies to employ their own on ground inspectors to hand select fruit for each order. This attention to detail and quality made the company a leader in developing customer quality requirements and improving margins for their customers. After the devastating California freeze of 1991 the company expanded its field operations to include Florida, Texas and Arizona. At the same time California Summer fruit was added to meet the needs of our customers who wanted the same level of service and quality in more perishable categories. As demand increased for US citrus around the world in the early 1990s we aggressively established a presence in International Markets to compliment our domestic business in North America. More recently we have expanded our domestic presence by adding key offices in Philadelphia and Boston to compliment our operations in California and Florida. While we are aggressively involved in the Summer Fruit items, citrus continues to be the primary focus of our business. We are fully integrated in the entire citrus category; domestic, import and export. We handle all citrus items from California Navels to Florida Grapefruit and every item in between. We have developed full support programs for retail, wholesale and foodservice distributors. We have recently expanded our capabilities to be a year round supplier of most all items in the category, including Navels, Lemons and Tangerines.
