Vouchforit® is a simple, honest and credible site that allows people to vouch for (and find) the best places in a destination. Travel has been a big part of our lives and when we travel to destinations we want to feel like locals, not tourists. Vouchforit was created to help achieve this. By asking people to Vouch For something is asking them to give a personal assurance that what they are vouching for is true. Social accountability and recommendations are more valuable and trustworthy than the standard avenues of marketing which are typically generated directly from a business that is trying to sell you something. There is a lot of negativity on the web and reviews of products and services should be taken with a grain of salt. That’s where we hope Vouchforit will differ as the user is getting an endorsement from immediate friends, friends of friends, locals and visitors. The person who ‘vouches’ for something is putting their reputation on the product/service. This makes it more credible for the user. We want Vouchforit to be a ‘positive site’ meaning that our site will not be a place where people can put down other businesses or share bad experiences. We simply want people to ‘Vouch For’ a place that they believe in. If the user doesn’t like a particular place then we ask that they don’t ‘Vouch For It’. Thank you for visiting our site.
