Vrumi connects people seeking affordable workspace to householders with daytime rooms to let. Our online community is free to join and use. Londoners get cheaper, nicer and more flexible places to work (no more expensive office rents or soulless co-working hubs). Householders make money from their properties (plus someone to keep the dog company and take in the Amazon deliveries). The company was founded by pioneering hedge fund manager Roddy Campbell (IFM Asset Management, Cross Asset Management) and entrepreneur-philanthropist William Sieghart (Forward Worldwide, Streetsmart, National Poetry Day). A compelling new innovation in the ‘sharing economy’, Vrumi is set to join global success stories like Airbnb, Zipcar and TaskRabbit. Vrumi frees microbusinesses, startups & independent outfits of all sorts from the burden of inflexible and costly conventional office rents. Vrumi frees microbusinesses, startups & independent outfits of all sorts from the burden of inflexible and costly conventional office rents. Vrumi was founded around a kitchen table by Roddy Campbell and William Sieghart, friends with many years combined experience working in business, not-for-profit organisations and financial services. Roddy’s idea was simple. He wanted to convert daytime room rental into affordable workspace – London’s toughest challenge for the self-employed.
