The Company's line of business includes the wholesale distribution of home furnishings and housewares. This company provides sales and distribution of concrete ready mixed products. Winter is hot in the Southeast, where The Winter Group of Companies does business. The group's general contracting division Winter Construction provides design/build, construction, and construction management services for projects including health care, retail, hospitality, education, religious, and multifamily residential buildings. It also oversees industrial projects for municipal, chemical, and pharmaceutical clients. Winter Environmental offers infrastructure and remediation services for water/wastewater, utility, and chemical industries. Senior management acquired the majority stakes formerly held by founder and chairman Bob Silverman in early 2009.
