Water of Life has one purpose: to demonstrate the love of Christ by providing fresh, clean water to people who currently have no access to it. It’s hard to believe that something as simple as fresh water facilitates peaceful resolutions to conflict, helps prevent water-borne disease (which kills thousands of children every day), helps promote literacy and education, is a foundation for economic development, and provides opportunities for families to live healthier, more productive lives. Water of Life has completed thousands of water projects in villages across Liberia, Sierra Leone and India, and by the end of 2016, we will have reached over one million people with clean water and the gospel. Yes, you read that right! More than a million human beings will have access to clean water and been shown the love of Christ because of our efforts. But with nearly 750 million people still suffering from a lack of clean water, we still have plenty of work to do.
