Health Care Systems: Bridging the gap between Science and Policy Wennberg International Collaborative Spring Policy Meeting April 12 - 13, 2018 – Zürich, Switzerland The international conference, named after Dr. Jack Wennberg, will showcase the healthcare system in Switzerland and approaches that reduce unwarranted variation in healthcare delivery. The Wennberg Spring Policy Meeting will highlight key regional differences and ways to address challenges. The goal of the conference is bringing Swiss and international healthcare experts together and linking researchers and policy makers in the healthcare field. The conference is hosted by the Wennberg International Collaborative (WIC), the National Research Programme NRP 74 «Smarter Health Care», and the Swiss School of Public Health. The four main topics are: regional variation in health care, incentives for smarter health care, bridging the gap between health care research and policy, and health policy in Switzerland. Speakers: Thomas Heiniger (CH), Pascal Strupler (CH), Stefan Spycher (CH), Jerome Bickenbach (CH/US), David Goodman (USA), Jack Wennberg (US), Jonathan Skinner (USA), Sabina Nuti (IT), Martin McKee (UK), and Diane Watson (AU). Due to several kind requests, the deadline for the abstract submission has been extended to Dec. 18th. You are welcome to submit your abstract on the Wennberg website. There will be no further extension. And please note that the Early Bird deadline for registration is until December 31st, 2017.
