Wincanton War Memorial Hall is a charity that provides the town of Wincanton and its surrounding area with a superb venue that caters for a range of needs. The Hall was opened in 1960 and since then has modernised itself to service many different types of events. From short-mat bowling, to gardeners clubs, to amateur dramatics and even archery - you name it, we've probably be hosted it! The Main Hall has a beautifully sprung dance floor and can be used with tables and chairs. A new LED, energy-efficient lighting system has been installed and can be directed towards the large stage or the dance floor. A sound-mixing desk is available for public address and music. The bar is located in the Sun Lounge next to the main hall and also has a small kitchen at the other end. The Side Room is available which leads from the Main Hall and the Kitchen and is ideal for your buffet. We welcome regular user groups and have many bookings for coffee mornings in the Sun Lounge. Of course we are not restricted to groups; private hirers are also very welcome.
