Chef Yann Blanchard got his passion for pastries while working in his parental bakery back in France as a child. After studying in Paris and gaining some international experience, he settled in Calgary. Yann Haute Patisserie opened in 2009 and is still a growing company. "We manage to give customer a little adventure into the world of French pastries (I am an authentic, France-trained pastry chef). Armed with great energy, humour, product knowledge (from ingredients to History) and superior quality, we can tailor to a unique blend of occasion items down to regular pieces like bread. Some products include croissants, cakes, bread (baguettes & loaves), wedding cakes, marshmallows, chocolates and of course what we are most known for: our macarons!
