Yashin Ocean House was founded in 2013 by the team behind Yashin Sushi & Bar on Argyll Road, Kensington. Executive chefs Yasuhiro Mineno, formerly of Ubon by Nobu, and Shinya Ikeda, ex-head chef of the prestigious Yumi restaurant, have brought their expertise in a wide range of Japanese cooking techniques to their latest project on Old Brompton Road, taking over the location that was formerly Lundums. Yashin Ocean House hosts a dining room displaying elegant Edwardian architecture with contemporary touches, including a turquoise counter made from glazed volcanic stone. The ambience is perfect for dates with friends, family or couples as well as solo visits. The menu is centred on satisfying, light Japanese tapas and our signature Omakase sushi, offering some of the finest delicacies in the world.
