Founded in 1958, Youth Symphony of Kansas City is comprised of four full orchestras, engaging 450 students in grades 5-12 from across the Kansas City Metropolitan Area. Orchestras perform approximately 10 concerts each season, most of which are free and open to the public, attracting more than 18,000 attendees annually.
