Opened in 1995, today Zai Martial Arts Academy is one of the most professional, well established martial arts academies around. At ZMA students of all ages learn and achieve self confidence, concentration, control, respect, and self discipline in the rich tradition of Chinese Kung-Fu. Students improve their stamina, muscle tone, weight control, balance, coordination and awareness in a safe and professional environment. Through years of training we have combined modern teaching methods with traditional Martial Arts techniques, which make our certified instructors not only experts in martial arts but also in teaching. At ZMA we combine the arts of Kung-Fu, Tai Chi,and Submission Grappling together in order to provide the most effective means of self-defense in realistic situations. Our Self Defense Program is based on five ranges of combat. Non-contact range – Weapon defense techniques such as knife, sticks and gun Kicking range Punching range Clinch fighting range Ground fighting range We are available for demonstration, school talks & after school programs, day care talks, summer programs, boot camp workouts, birthday parties, women’s self defense clinics, incentive programs for businesses, safety and health fairs and character development programs.
