In 2016, when the city was suffering from the non- biodegradable and high rate of pollution, Ankit Jain with a dream and big vision quitted his job and started JUTEHUGGR, in order to create the awareness among the people,youth,corporates about how to green and eliminate plastic and other hazardous pollution creating materials from the environment in the garden city, Bangalore. “The venture develops the emotional, social interaction which opens the window of reality how our environment needs the change and how we could protect it from making a small change one at a time.” says Ankit Jain. According to him, we all are taking from environment but now its high alarming time that we give back to Mother Nature. JUTEHUGGR has developed connection that made restaurants, schools, colleges, giant MNC’s, corporate houses and even wholesalers and retailers reduce their plastic usage. It’s now spreading its wings of educating people why jute is the best replacement of plastic and more durable and pocket friendly. An approach to reach out the mass, JUTEHUGGR is leaving no stone unturned and offers variety of services and products to its customers to choose from. The company offers customizations on the bags, pouches, etc. from getting your brand name printed on to, different shape and sizes, wedding goodies to colour of choice one wish to have; it’s all available at one stop JUTEHUGGR. The company joined hands with different NGO as well. The reason for its growth and acceptable model of expansion was its affordable and competitive pricing strategy, the brand is loved by the local people as well, as it retail its products and goodies in retail stores and also available in the craft stores throughout the city.
