Östermalms Saluhall has been named "The world's 7th best food hall". The acknowledgement was given to us by the prestigious and award-winning magazine Bon Appétit in 2007. Among others, on the top ten list, were the food market halls in Tokyo and Budapest. Östermalms Saluhall receiving international attention is nothing new in itself. This meeting and trading place is found in most guidebooks of Stockholm and has attracted visitors for almost 125 years. The world-famous chef Jamie Oliver recently appointing Östermalms Saluhall to one of his favorite places in Stockholm, is also something that we see as "a feather in the cap" and a good sign that our environment and food culture is highly valued abroad. "Tradition, quality and personal service since 1888" In Östermalms Saluhall, we are 17 traders. Many of us run a family business that has existed here for generations. What unites us is the passion for really good food, high quality in every aspect of our work and the personal meeting with you as a customer.
